Mauritius Weather
Mauritius and Rodrigues offer an ideal tropical climate with beautiful sunshine all year around. Cyclones can be expected between January and March, usually lasting a day or two but it is rare that the cyclone reaches Mauritius.

Seasons:
Summer
November till April is summertime, with average temperatures of 28° C during the day. When you are staying near the coastal areas, the cool sea breezes from the southeast make the climate comfortable and just right.
Winter
May till October is winter in Mauritius. The coldest months are July and August, when the average temperatures drop from 18° to 23° Celsius. On the high plateau of the island, temperatures drop down even further than that. Curepipe City even has days of 14° to 16° C.
