Itinerary

The Lava Tubes of Mauritius were once home of the famous Dodo and are certainly worth an adventurous expedition! Going through tunnels that are as old as Mauritius is a very special experience indeed! While exploring this fantastic nature site, we take the garbage bags which we have brought with us and – probably even with the help of the villagers – we tidy up the Dodo Den.
As a reward, we feast on local delicacies and have a refreshing bath in a nearby river.
