We help you get the best deals for wedding rings, dresses, accessories, flowers, beautician and hairstylist. We can take you to a mehendi colour tattoo session in the tradition of local brides, organise a Sega band to serenade you, or rent a boat with a local fisherman to sweep you away on a romantic escapade after your beach wedding.

Participant Guidelines

We suggest that the couple consider bringing the following with them or making the time to buy these in Mauritius:

Wedding dress properly packed. There are plenty of designer sand tailors on the island that can assist (tailored made dress or suit generally take 3 to 5 days depending on complexity of their design)
Personal make up and perfumes
Wedding rings, if you do not prefer to have them custom-made on the island. We recommend Ravior (100% Mauritian made jewellery)
Shoes for the wedding (Larger sizes are not easily found on the island)
Particular stationery items or guest cards
Appropriate footwear (best: go barefoot or wear sandals!) Remember, there is an awful lot of sand on the beach - it's no fun crawling around the sand seeking lost footwear
Light jacket or shawl - temperatures can drop a little after sunset
Extra hairpins for the bridal hairdo, as it can be a bit breezy on boats
A makeup and hair repair kit - you cannot go back to your room to fix yourself up before photo sessions.

Other personalised services provided for a fee include providing a tiara, makeup, champagne, hairdressing and live music.

Other Disclosures: As mentioned above, this is your perfect chance for a barefoot wedding ceremony!

Consider applying sun block during daytime and mosquito-repellent if the ceremony takes place in a natural environment.

In case of non favourable weather conditions; we will try to reschedule according to wishes of the couple. In some cases additional fees or costs such as for new flower decorations may arise.

The wedding cannot take place either the bride or the groom, or both, fail to produce the necessary documents on the required date, or if the bride or the groom is absent.
